'The President' is one of the worlds oldest and largest trees, if you take into account biomass (trunk, limbs, branches, leaves, etc), and it certainly is beautiful in a snowstorm.

A couple of years ago researchers from National Geographic climbed and photographed the tree, their final photo of the entire tree actually a mosaic of 126 separate images. You can find out more about The President in Nat Geo December 2012 issue or watch the video below.
While I'm a little undecided about whether I would let anyone climb the tree, I'm glad it is now protected and we have moved on somewhat from showing off incredible plants..like this!
